SYMBOLISMS OF JACOB’S MIRACULOUS MASSIVENESS.

 1.      Finance: In their days Riches was defined mostly by herds and flocks.  Jacob fled his home to Haran without any sheep or goat.  He got to serve a crooked master who did not give him grounds to look away from the God of Abraham and miss the provisions of God (not yet inheritance that defined the covenant). The crookedness of his master made him to develop a special reverence for the God of Abraham and Isaac. As he upheld the statutes of the covenant (truthfulness and prudence), God gave him the formula for exploding his sheep and goats.  He became richer than his master to the point that he was envied.

 2.      FRUITS (BIOLOGICAL): God had promised Abraham bountiful seeds (too numerous for counts) like the stars of the sky and the sand on the seashore.   Satan focused on attacking covenant marriage (unions) to make God look like a liar.  Jacob was wired to win - he became the father of 12 tribes of Israel without offending the covenant.  He paid his bride prices from his sweat: did not commit adultery or fornication and he did not find any forbidden woman worthy for a mate.

 3.      FAME:       The earth is to be filled with the knowledge of the glory of God as the water covers the sea (Hab 2:14) and God has given Jesus Christ a name that is superior to all names.  As long as God chooses to allow, the heir of God shall remain famous. The foundation was laid by Jacob who fought against embargoes, enchantments and entanglements programmed by the society against him.  For his zealousness for his mandated realm (as man and the seed of Abraham must contend to become God’s heir), he became Israel – a cynosure of Power. Today, Israel is still maximizing Power to prevail on every dimension and other nations and nationals rise against her only to fail.

Israelites win Nobel prizes like no other and remain unbeatable in fame because of the covenant of God with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob -  who could bring to bear the Power that Israel would need to manifest in order to possess the promised land Canaan, ‘for as a prince has thou power…(Gen 32:28KJV)

4.      FIRE:  The capacity to dematerialize the foe.  It emanates from divine presence.  With fire the foe that fights the Blessed fizzles into inconsequential existence.  Jesus came to the earth with fire that all the forces of darkness could not quench.  He went through their midst untouchable and unstoppable until the time came for Him to lay down His life for the same people who tried to kill Him to no avail.

As Jacob sat at his mother’s feet to learn the truth (the prophecy of God for him, the Covenant and the God of Abraham), he got too hot for his angry brother or agitated Canaanites to dare.

As he encountered Bethel and Peniel, he became too fireful to fail.  He had heard God and saw supernatural beings and he could not tolerate/condone forces that were fashioned against his destiny.  He remained bent and steadfast at pursuing his destiny.  At every occasion, he got to know what to do to proceed in triumph and he did not need another God (any god) or external encouragement as a man in pursuit of his purpose.

With the massiveness of fire in him, no one could successful fight him or name his fault.  He remained truthful because the fire of God’s Word and divine encounters burnt in Him.

Anyone who took offense in him to plot against him only pushed him towards his throne where he redefined the Covenant Lineage. With the fire that burnt in him through his encounters with the Word of God (through his Word-wise mother), angels, divine dreams and revelations.

Hence, covet FIRE that the knowledge of God imparts by studying the Word.
