MIRACULOUS MASSIVENESS

The life of Jacob was a cynosure of Miraculous Massiveness.  He was merely a covenant Chieftain of his generation, the heir of Isaac and grandson of Abraham.  He was marked by God for peculiar existence in defence of the Covenant and every force that sparked off in the society to frustrate Divine Purpose through him and make his destiny a mess failed. As he got to know that he was God-marked first born and heir with natural fire burning in his marrow (to contend with the numerous squads mobilized by the adversary against him and the posterity of Abraham and the covenant lineage), he proved that what God says can be a sure reality to only those who contend. 

 

As a second biological born, he waded through the dreary course to become the first born, heir of Isaac and he owes the society no apology for being misunderstood. He was only leading the way for today’s church to follow in order to enjoy the Salvation that the only Son of God (Jesus) contended to make happen to the Church.

 

It is right for the church, heir of Salvation and joint heir with Jesus Christ to realize that the defeated foe is still raging in defiance of the sovereign authority  that God bestowed on His heir to strip him of his heritage. The pleasure of Satan is the perpetuation of the saved/ freed in the curse/fall where it stripped him of his image and likeness as God.

 

Salvation has restored the heir of God to his pre-fall state as the Image and Likeness of God but Satan is wishing it was still the one in control of every man. The heir of God had been exempted from its control and given Power to thread upon it (as serpent and scorpion) and remain unhurt by all means.

 

There is now need to appropriate Wisdom to exercise the Power restored to the heir by God through redemption in order to acquire his God-given Riches and then manifest as God’s real heir and have what it takes to defend the covenant (New) agenda, and the kingdom of God from the adversary who is camouflaging like a roaring lion.

 

Jacob the prototype of Jesus did not accept what he saw on earth or became subject to contrary forces on earth.  He contended to become the first born, got this father’s Blessing and sparked the Revolution (at Peniel) that Jesus came to perfect in order that the seed of Abraham with liabilities to lost the Blessing (and remain in captivity as Reuben, Simeon, Levi etc) may be radically reformed and transformed into superior personality too fierce for the foe to face - the heir of God Almighty: the Creator and owner of Heaven and Earth: Eternal King of Glory who made Abraham (His friend) great.

 

The heir of God is an advantaged personality than Abraham and his seeds and the basis is the level of relationship.  Abraham was God’s friend and his seeds were made by God for Abraham’s sake.

In the New Covenant, Jesus had paid the supreme price to make heirs for God and He remains the firstborn with uncommon magnanimity to share His inheritance with His co-heirs.

 

Now, Power, Riches, Wisdom, Strength, Honour, Glory, Blessing (Rev. 5:12) belongs to everyone who identifies with God and His son –Jesus Christ as reiterated in Rom 10:9 -10.

With only the Blessing (divine presence), Abraham and his seeds became MASSIVE Miraculously.

The divine Presence they guarded jealously through strict covenant- consciousness and compliance to ordained patterns energized them to yield exponentially.

Jacob the prototype of our Saviour (Jesus) epitomized Miraculous Massiveness.
