POLITICS: Politics is God’s designed structure or system for guarding, guiding, governing and glorifying. Politics is the order of behaviour or relationship authorized by God between entities in a specific geographical location. It is God’s formula for preventing crisis, maintaining order and punishing rebellion and remaining Sovereign over His creation.

In other words, Politics is God exercising Sovereign authority for the fulfillment of divine purpose through the people of His choice. It is the Government of God through the people of His choice for the fulfillment of divine purpose. It can also imply God setting the order of behavior for His people demanding the maintenance of the order and defining the punishment for rebellion.

Like every other thing that can be imagined or seen on earth, Politics is a creation of God.  In John 1:3 ‘Through Him all things were made: without Him nothing was made that has been made (NIV).  If so, then the word and practice known as Politics only became a reality after God had done the work of putting the earth in order.

Merriam Webster’s definition of Politics as ‘the art or science of government’ is sufficing.

Note that Collins Dictionary defines Politics as ‘the actions or activities concerned with achieving and using power in a country or society.’

The Holy Bible that bares the account of creation also bears the blueprint of Politics.  God Almighty: the Alpha and Omega (Beginning and End) is God alone. In Isa 45:5 He said “I am the Lord, and there is no other --- apart from me there is no God’.

The Political structure that God established in Heaven was about being disturbed by Lucifer when became envious of God and desired the throne of God to sit on.  He was punished for rebellion – stripped of the precious form that God gave him and turned into a subject of perpetual shame – satan.  He was cast down to the earth (Isa 14:14).

Also in Gen 1:26 God made manifest the existence of a potent Political structure in which He was and remains Sovereign:  “Let us make man in our image; after our likeness and let them have dominion over the fish  of the sea, and over the birds of the sky, and over the…’.

God Himself and no one else determined the format of behavior and relationship between His creatures.  To the man He created to be on earth He gave their (divine) image and likeness as sovereigns over every other thing created to be on earth – things in the air, sea, land, etc.  Man was given Dominion over other creatures.

Forever, the Political structures that God formed by Himself remains and no one can question Him because He created him.  When Lucifer only ‘thought about’, he suffered eternal damnation.

 

THE POLITICAL WILL OF GOD

The Political Will of God defines the state of the earth and His creation even the man He created in His image and likeness.

(1)         God has His domain in Heaven eternally and no man has what it takes to approach such exalted divine realm.

(2)         The council of God consists of Trinity - the father, son and the Holy Spirit and there is no confusion about who is the head and final authority.

(3)         God’s reign is from everlasting to everlasting.  He has the Heaven and Earth -  the fullness therefore and all are under His control and no one can dare to assume the realm or relationship that God does not allow and escape  eternal consequences as a rebel.

(4)         He cast Lucifer from Heaven to the earth for rebelling against His master God Almighty. Lucifer became satan - a cursed beast forever.

(5)         After the fall of man and the mess up in the established Political structure on earth when man was in Dominion, and satan (the beast) stole man’s authority, God chose Abraham to establish a new Political structure.

(6)         God found in Adam a peculiar man who could not rebel against Him – who heeded all of God’s instructions to Him and God created for him a unique political climate called the Covenant. By the Covenant that existed between God and Abraham, God used the material called the Blessing to decorate Abraham and that was to remain the distinguishing feature of Abraham’s lineage all through.  Abraham stood out from all the peoples of his generation by God’s political will and no one could question God or stop His purpose from manifesting in Abraham’s life and lineage. This is beginning a course ‘for the renewal of the mind’ of the church and heir of God on the phenomenon called POLITICS which the church abandoned to the world to drag in the mud. That which God designed for man to use to administer creation is no longer in the clutches of satan. Jesus had fulfilled Redemption and the apparatus for governance Politics is now in the control of the heir of God – who is equipped to represent God on earth as a diplomat (a co-heir with Jesus and the host of the Holy Spirit). The battle for displacing satan from the seat of authority it stole into was over in the favour of the Heir of God. He only has to know the TRUTH to become free. He only has to utilize all that Redemption makes his Heritage to TAKE HIS SEAT. Come closer!
